Granny's gone and done it again

8 hours is the usual minimum. Most of us work 10-12 hours. You know my general manager scheduled himself 9am-close next sunday? i guess he needs to make up for leaving us but DANG!

It goes by pretty fast. There are days where I'll go non stop for several hours before getting a second to stop and think. It doesn't drag by. You have plenty to do, and friends to chat with. Its tiring but you get used to it. I go to bed at around 3am, and then I don't need to work again until four PM. Its really not that bad. :)

Yeah your probably right. It sounds bad. But when your actually doing it it’s really not. However I’d still be drinking at least one pot of coffee a day 😆

As of now, I usually get Thursdays and Fridays off

So I work 4pm-12am. Then 7 hours later, at 6am I go to school. School done at 2:23, I get home around 2:45. I get 2:45-3:30 to rest. At 3:30 I start getting ready for work and at about 3:45pm I leave for work and I arrive at about 3:50 so I can get a drink and prepare myself for the shift

repeat monday-wedsday... then saturday-sunday hahah

I do it all without coffee or energy drinks. those make me jittery and give me anxiety. There is literally no time to be tired when you're there so you usually forget you are tired after a bit, haha

I have had issues in the past with anxiety and other mental issues but caffeine has never affected it in anyway. Its neat how things are so different for different people.
yep, I'm kind of obsessed with it... hence why I'm studying psych. On a normal day I usually have none, to just a bit of anxiety. I do worry a lot about the little things.. But if I have coffee that really amps it up to severe and I have a hard time. At home or at school I'm fine.. just a little on edge. At work when I'm already stressed, it can break me pretty easily.

That makes sense. Do you have certain things that calm your anxiety as well?
