Can hardly believe my eyes just now! Was out back trying to see what some hens were fussing about. Heard a shrill sound and saw 2 Cooper's hawks being chased out of the big oak by several very small birds. It happened so quickly. The little birds chased the shrieking hawks over the house and into a neighbor's tree. I saw them zoom and whirl and dive bomb the hawks. Amazing. Could see the little ones clearly as they triumphantly zoomed back over to my yard... they were hummingbirds! 5 of them! Amazing! And I had just refilled their feeders too. I've always said hummers are ferocious beasts, but this was unexpected.
Lately those hawks have turned my yard into a cafeteria. I've found remains of quail, dove, poor little Towhee, and most recently a scrub jay. I thought we needed crows around to keep the hawks away. Who needs crows when we've got hummers!

Good to hear that granny. Better now I’ve had a good soak in the tub and got my PJ’s on! Rugby is just about to start so we are going to watch that. I may partake in a little drink or 2 while we watch that!
Saturday is my big muck out day for Harry & his field pal Branon. I also fill hay nets for them both for the week coming so got all those done today too. I’m not quite as fast as I was with my hand still being weak but I got there in the end. Then we got a load of wood to cut and split into logs. Got 1 and a half log stores filled up but I will be happier when all 3 are full ready for winter

How often?

Not as often as I should lol. I kinda do it when I remember. So cleaning the charge contacts is when I remember or when I notice it’s having issues docking/charging, cleaning out the wheels and brushes are when I notice it’s bad when Skynet locks itself in the bathroom again…etc etc.

I’m sat here thinking now what to do tomorrow with it being my last day off work I’m looking forward to going back Monday but only because I’ve missed the horses & ponies that I look after oh and the money of course. It’s a good job Scott has sponsored me for the last 4 weeks. No lay in on Monday morning....
