Gracie didn't like it when some of the chicks would go around to the side of their brooder and get separated from the group and then cry loudly yesterday. So today she stationed herself over there on that side to try to keep them in order. She roared at one of them when it tried to go out of bounds. I guess she is the Border Patrol.

Over 70 chickens to go to the big swap! Did I mention that? I was working on an Ex-pen , adding hardware cloth so youngsters can't get out. About half done. Cleaned out a brooder and took older chicks outside. Now to take chicks out of incubator and set up a bin for them. My friend is bringing her truck and trailer, only way to get all of them up there with all the equipment.
