I would say "brain freeze" but with granny you never know. I beleive she did mention something about going to bed.

And I am totally fine with them  "policing"  the outer farm  and then know better then to wreak havoc in the runs themselves.    But that is also part of the reason  I avoid  having chickens  with pheasant like markings    they (dogs) may not see colors like we do but they can see markings
