I just notices I rolled over to 24,000 good thing I missed it as fresh out of words of wisdom today.

Don't see many, no, and I've left the door open on accident before all night and notta happened. Biggest preds here are hawks and dogs. I've had many dog attacks, 3 hawk attacks, 1 weasel, and 1 mink in three years.

Of course, now that I said that....

That sounds not too bad.. yeah dogs are my predator here. Eventually I will get rid of all my prey driven dogs. I hope to train my new dogs to protect my flock. Not sure if it's possible but I have a couple I can take in the chicken area and they don't chase them.

Just heard from the breeder of Beth's arranged marriage/husband/toy boy to be. Evidently there was much "hooking Up" last week of the future in-laws. And if things went right pup's around the end of April

Well you do have bird dogs

And I am totally fine with them "policing" the outer farm and they know better then to wreak havoc in the runs themselves. But that is also part of the reason I avoid having chickens with pheasant like markings they (dogs) may not see colors like we do but they can see markings
