Granny's gone and done it again

You were the baby of the family?  :)   You're not supposed to know how to strike a come hither pose at that age.  You look ready to dive in!  Did the water smell sulfury?  I've been to Sul duc springs in the Olympic forest.  Really cool (and hot!) but we sure had to get used to the smell of rotten eggs.

That's probably is what made us chicken people, the rotten sulphuric smell.

I put a small container of water on the top shelf by the fan and humidity has raised 10 points already to 46. unfortunately so has the temps to 102

Where was that awesome picture taken. I need a hot spring.
A little place called Starkey's Hot Springs --- at the time this was taken it was owned by a darling elderly couple (Chuck and Helen, like extra grandparents for us) -- they weren't open to the public, but we were allowed to use it at will because during the summer they rented to private parties and my mom worked as a lifeguard for them and us kids ran the candy counter for them. It's been around for ages - there used to be a train that ran from way down in Boise to bring people up to it when it was first built (way, way back). Anyway, I understand it's since been sold (C & H have passed away) and the people who bought it have gotten back to having it open part-time but have also started some ridiculous bottled water company
