Granny's gone and done it again

I'm with you, Wishing! About the only bread I eat these days is my own homemade, whole-grain. When everyone else is eating sandwiches, I'm eating either a lettuce wrap or just cutting up a chicken patty with lettuce and tomato and eating it as a salad! Store bread just weighs me down, is like an indigestible lead lump in my belly. Bleah. And no greasy meat either. The very thought is painful.

I'm just trying to be healthy. My body doesn't wanna. But I'm eating healthy anyway. What I mean is, it's not responding as I wish it would. It won't metabolize or digest properly. It won't, as a consequence, lose weight. Doesn't matter. I'm still going to feed it good, healthy food in reasonable portions. I eat tiny portions actually because I feel stuffed after just a few bites. This has been a battle all my life, but only in the last ten years or so has it resulted in weight gain.
