I have a couple of rooms that need some work here.

I have an extra room that has turned into a catch all room. New chair? Stick the old one back there. Im sick of it. I want that room back! Even if we dont use it to "live in"

@microchick I forgot your DH was an eye dr. I have a question if you dont mind? How do you know when to get diabetics eyes checked? I mean, I know when the sugar is high the eyes are blurry and ok when its normal so how do you know if they need glasses or the sugar is high?

At least annually more often if your eye doctor advises it.

Diabetics are more susceptible to diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Both can cause blindness.

If you are suffering from blurred vision, then your diabetes is out of control. But in the shadow of the possibility of AMD and diabetic retinopathy, that is the least of your worries. If you haven't had your eyes checked within the last 12 months, hun, it's time to call your eye doctor.

Medicare will pay for the bigger part of your exam as long as you have a medical diagnosed eye disease or physical problem that can contribute to eye disease such as diabetes.

I have Occipital Neuralgia. My Dr said that's a tough one when prescribing new lens. He said to try these, but I just may need to stay with what I have. Trying new ones really do mess with me, plus, found out this time that my left eye is going worse than my right. That surprised me. My migraines happen on my right side. Different "stuff" I guess.

When my husband passed, I wondered how in the world we would clean his shop. One of our sons did most of it. It's now...a garage. He built it thinking we could park a car in there ..and.. have his things in there. Things took over. But now, I have my car in there. I miss his things. . I kept some things of his..one tool box. Kept some of his stuff in there. I kept his John Wayne picture, the glass is cracked, was going to get it fixed, but decided to keep it the way he had it all these years. He loved John Wayne.

Not as busy as i used to be. I get tired now, get cold etc. Take lots of breaks.

. Forget the folded arms and pouty lip, now I'm stomping my feet. I hope you decide to get into that Dr. at least. My guess is by Monday that rash will be worse. . I hope they can get you in.

The trick with new glasses is to start the morning with your new glasses.

If that doesn't work, you need to call and get in to have them adjusted and/or make sure the RX is right.

Labs make mistakes. Sometimes some of the measurements can be off, the biggest one I saw was the focal point in the lenses being off. Happened to my glasses once. One lens was perfect, the other's focal point was off quite a bit. The labs are supposed to be checking all that stuff before they send them back to the doctor but hey, in the world called perfect that stuff doesn't happen. Unfortunately this world is not called Perfect.

Howdy all. I spent yesterday trying to catch up on work that I didn't do for a couple of years. Yeah, sounds bad but it isn't as bad as it sounds. Our house is Huge.. I can concentrate on keeping the main living area clean and there are still 6 rooms that need attention but that we are only occasionally in. An upstairs attic area, utility room, project room, small storage area, hobby room and attached shop. Yesterday I started on the project room and today am stiff and sore. DH suggested I take the day off from that room and hey! Don't have to tell me twice to take it easy!

So jealous of all your space. We are having a hard time finding people to build our addition and garage.
