I only do it to make more room in the dishwasher for more dirty dishes! I don't do it just to be critical or controlling. My mother was so good at getting more stuff in small spaces, we called her the Space Engineer. She could move a household of six people in a pickup.* It's a big name to live up to!

I may be exaggerating a tad or my memory might be faulty. Not sure which.
