Granny's gone and done it again

We got a new priest a few years back. Then he got a DWI. Now another new priest who we got after him, who was actually still a deacon when he came and is my dentists son, is great. We love him. He is young so he plays basketball and stuff with us. He even coaches the softball team. Great with the school since the parish and school are connected. Our other priest is, well, he is getting ahead of himself. He is not where he wants to be and has been guven a bit too much pwr with the school. Oh well. At least we have Father Joe. And our mass schedule is also wacky. We have a mass at 5:00 PM on Saturday and on Sunday they are at 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. 7 is too early, but if dad, who is a farmer, has to work on Sunday, 9 is too late. We used to have a 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM.

your old schedule is what we had PLUS the noon spanish/bi-lingual depends on the make up of the congregation that day. THEN in July ,father decided that was "TOO MUCH" work. :rant AND to make sur eher managed to TORK all the sunday crowd off got rid of the 8 and 10:30 masses and only does 9 am and then 11 am spanish/bilingual. Collections have been below budget (mainly way below) ever since. He actually had the gall to mention at a parish consul meeting (minutes are printed) he "couldn't understand" the drop in collection.:rant:rant:rant:rant Well most people don't contribute to a church where they don't attend mass. idjit.

Hi all. My husband came home over the weekend so I have not been online. He left in the wee hours this morning.

I need to get so much work done. So freaking busy around here. When he comes home all projects and work gets shuffled.

Muscovy eggs finally arrived today. I was convinced they were going to be smashed or frozen. They were neither.

do you ship muscovy lings ?? if so how much and what colors.

We got 3 trees today, a peach, almond, and Granny Smith apple tree. Planning to plant them tomorrow. I am excited!

do you have a cross pollinator for the apple ?? Not sure if you need one but I would check. Same goes for the other fruit trees which do NOT live up in the great white north.

Only sometimes. We are pretty much in spring weather already. The almond was actually a mistake, it was mislabeled 🤦

We do have nut trees on the property already though.

for goodness sakes don't pick any more nuts off the tree's This county has enough "nuts' running around already
