Well. About an hour out now. Mil had another poop situation but has decided she’ll crack the window and keep driving. I think she’s reached the idgafluffernut bad portion of today’s programming.

I just….sigh. So many ways of doing things I wouldn’t do. One of her dogs (a black malenois that’s about a week younger than Goose) kept trying to jump in her lap at one point. I had brought goose’s car harness and tether but she refused to use em….poor dogs. It’s stressful. They don’t go anywhere and now are doing a huge freaking road trip on top of the home stress/packing up…

Goose of course is just chillin in his crate. He’s used to road trips. He has a couple shower mats in there for better traction in case of turns etc and I got two because when he would get carsick, I’d only have to clean one usually so he’d still have something (plus easier to manage if he did puke all over em)

I got Numa and Nutmeg. Numa is the black buckskin, we just gave her a new name.

Nutmeg was a small mixup, but we decided to keep her anyways. The one I was looking at is one of the two we have, Numa, renamed Chestnut.

Yes, that is a photo of a full udder. I personally don't like those photos. They can develop mastitis if not milked regularly.

It usually is like show picture. Showing the udder. They do show them with a full udder.

Okay, so basically, the breeder had a listing for 4 does. 1, 2, 3, and 4. I asked to reserve 2 and 4, however, she accidentally brought 1 and 4 when we asked to visit them. 1 actually looks a lot better in person than on camera, so we decided to keep her. 4 is now named Chestnut and 1 is named Nutmeg.

Feather was asking about Numa, she thought we didn't get her, but we did. Numa is the name she has on her adga papers and registration, but we call her Chestnut. Numa is on the website, she is the 4th doe on the listing I saw.

So instead of getting 2 and 4, we got 1 and 4.
