My son with Spina Bifida has this type. He got one if those..reachers..to put his clothes in the dryer.

it would with out the drawer unit BUT then you would have to bend over to get the clothes out of the washer UNLESS you made/got a platform for a sideXside washer and dryer.

mine are side by side. just a platform for the dryer would work. How did you make yours?

My problem is, my washer and dryer are downstairs. I have to be very careful on the stairs. Had my daughter in law out some new towels in for me a couple of days ago. She did it all for me.

the washer is a trip too. I have a hard time reaching bottom. lol I sometimes tilt.
