Still managed to spend almost 80 bucks in there.

Good job!

I vaguely remember her show she made a lot of sense and most of it the common/horse type

Yes, which is probably why I find her so followable......
Sorry, I need to run off, hubs wants to go to town. Nice chatting with you all. Hope everyone has a great day

Have a great time!

So, we got a bit of a surprise while the kids were here visiting -- they let us in on a little secret.......I'm officially a mother-in-law.

Turns out those sneaky kids went and got married.....a while ago! It simplified a few things with SIL being able to deal with some of the stuff regarding DD's injury and that ongoing situation as well as the purchase of their house - so they did it "on paper" with the plan of having their wedding as planned, but have since decided it makes more sense to not spend that sort of money on one day when they have a house and lots of other things they want to save for/spend on so kind of had to come out and tell everyone they are married.

DH and I are not in much of a position to object considering we did much the same when we got married because he got unexpected orders and in order for DD and I to be put on them in time we needed to be official - in the mean time we were working on altering the orders a bit as they had him reporting on the day before what we had already set as our wedding date In our case we were able to get things moved back and had our wedding as planned, but had it not worked out we'd have been in the same boat as the kids.

I worry about them being so young, but beyond that could not be happier for them --- SIL fits so well in our family and it is an absolute joy to welcome him officially. I can't believe my baby girl is a married woman..............

Congratulations Mare! DH & I also did something like that. We went to the JOP in shorts, got married, but told everybody we were engaged. A year later on the same day we had a 'real' wedding in my parents back yard with the big dress. It was the most logical thing for us (we were military too) & gave us the the best of both worlds. Getting married became kind of a 'thing' for us... About a decade later we went to Vegas & got married again by an Elvis impersonator.
