No..Medicair ..does.. pay for the dental, glasses, hearing..and more, my military doesn't pay for those things..at all. Medicair will also pay for meds in this plan for some, but not for me because that's one thing that the military will pay for. Medicair has paid so much in medical bills for me, but what isn't paid in that area...that's where my military picks up..But it isn’t Medicare paying. It is your supplemental to medicare, right. I don’t know why they make it so confusing. I used to work in medical. So I would think I could understand. I don’t.
My Walmart was fairly inexpensive. Normally they're $30 brand new, you get them half off if you bring the empty CO2 cartridges. Maybe they have gone up in the last few years. The exchange was expensive.
Man. Didn’t know what those were before, but now that you mention them, I want one and I don’t even drink soda!!anyone here know anything about soda stream? Robert has been wanting one for yrs now. Walmart has them for $100. I was thinking Christmas or Bday. Supposed to be better for you and less sugar. I think
Nah, just a Leghorn hen with a hefty comb.looks like a roo to me Pro
Well that goes without saying. I mean even if I wasn’t worried about bugs or pestilence, she is injured and normal pecking order stuff could easily kill her. If she survives I’ll need to figure something out for her though. I mean being stuck in a little crate in the garage isn’t ideal - it gets toasty in there in the afternoon (I might move her outside to the back of the house for air and shade) but then again that would be inviting flies and stuff too. :/ can’t win.Good that you're keeping her away from your flock.
IBS plaguing me. Guts hurt today. My theory is i drank too much pepsi and coke back when i was grooming dogs.
Maybe give carbonated water a try? I used to mix that stuff with orange juice…crazy kid I was.No he shouldnt but he does and if I can get him to drink something lower in sugar it will help . Its a start anyway
Why would you soak her? Is her wound dirty?Well that goes without saying. Not sure if I should clean out the rooster coop which is kinda attached to the main coop out, or lug up the quarantine pre built crap coop and set it up in the backyard or what. Problem is goose is a jerk and can’t set it up in the dog run area or even adjacent to the dog area….he might stress her out more.
She seems to be perking up a bit more. She ate some of the corn on the cob. I’ve now brought out a bowl with grit, crumble and some scratch for her. Sprayed her wound down with some vetricyn. It’s not pretty. Should do the epsom soak but she’s….well she’s been through a lot but not acting like a spoiled chicken - nervous of us. Not sure if I should stress her out to that point…
feel better soon.

Well she’s dirty but I don’t see debris in the wound itself. There’s crusty blood around a bit.Why would you soak her? Is her wound dirty?
