Granny's gone and done it again

LOL I bet he had the time of his life.

This is our second boat...much smaller then our other one...which is parked right now.
This one is on 24 feet...the other is 36 with a bedroom/sink/bathroom under neath...very big size difference...he was never scared on the "big" boat....
the small boat...seems a little bit scarier...it's closer to the water....if that makes and sense.....like the sides of the boat are not real tall...only about 2 feet...the big boat he could vbarely see over the side...

Well happy Sunday.

Managed to get to Home Depot yesterday and get a new lawnmower. Get home and find out the fuel tank leaks. Great. So hubs busts out the dually and away we go back down the hill for an exchange.

New one goes just fine :) hubs has fun mowing....its just your standard lawn boy but it's awd and he was commenting on how when he lived at home, they had him do alone the yard work (he also mucked stalls and all the fun stuff for his moms horses...) and was trying then to get a awd or some powered lawnmower. And he was laughing cause they said when you buy your own lawnmower you can buy what you want.

...low and behold....he bought his own lawnmower... ;)

remind me Texas chick?

Like camps...

the new breed????
Pretty ones???

I still don't know what to call them so I'm sticking with the Texas kind...

Here is the basis of my project: Cross Cream Legbar with Isabel(aka Isabella, Isabelle, Isabelline) Leghorn. The name "Lavender patterned Isable duckwing - barred"

Love it! Hope he enjoys every minute of using it. Have to think about getting us a mower in the next week or two, first time in a long time we've lived somewhere that doesn't need a riding mower.....

Does anyone remember this chicks name ? hes the one I dropped and crushed the shell. a turtle from finding Dory.

Crush?
I'm debating on what day this week to go get me some Texas chicks...
I'm thinking tomorrow?W?!?!?!?
I still haven't started a new coop but maybe if I just go get them I will actually start something.
Every day is a good day to get chicks, lol

Morning Mare, I guess it was Crush. LOL
I bought a front wheeled drive mower and for myself it was a big mistake. It goes faster then I do going forward and is so much heavier then a plain one . Going backwards or turning is much too hard for me. They weigh 2xs as much as a reg. one and I would trade mine in a heart beat.

When did weekends get so short? This working a full-time job is for the birds, lol. Woke up to a cold rainy day here, so much for the forecast of a 'dry start' .....sigh. I think most of what DH has to do on the coop today can be done in the shop/under cover, though, so no excuse not to get things done -- think today is door/window construction day.....if we can get those on I can get the hardware cloth over all the ventilation openings and we just might be able to bring home chicks next weekend..........or July..........
