Granny's gone and done it again

Yes, I understood it to be for pleasure. I traveled across several states in a covered wagon when I was younger and I know that it takes pretty much all day to cover about 20 miles, so as a mode of transportation it's pretty much a wash. But for fun, or competition, .. oh yeah! Nice looking beasts. What are they? Sorry, I mean what breed, obvi they are horses. Daughter is quite a looker! I don't want to hazard a guess ... 🤔
You traveled in a covered wagon? We had a lot of these back in the day do so to escape trouble. Pilgrims, endured a lot, including death. :(

It’s very cold here tonight, so I brought my rooster Jaffar inside with me. He likes it here inside.

I'm excited for you! You'll feel so much better. Will you be able to drive? (I haven't had new glasses since 2019, I was way overdue!)
I still drive on my good days. Not highways or freeways..but around town and sometimes the next town over. I don't know until Mt feet hit the floor whether it's going to be a good/better day, or not. Yesterday was awful. I just sat and layed down mostly. No fun. Then this morning. :( There's no explanation for this. Some go by certain triggers. I know Barometric does a number on me. I ordered some special ear plugs..weather X. And they send an app that will let you know when change is coming. Hope they work as well as for some.

Yes, in 1973 a wagon passed through the small town we were living in near Rocky Ford, CO. A very religious man and his family were determined to cover all the Lower 48 states with a religious message before returning to their home in Maine. We sold all that we had and joined him. We stayed with them through CO, UT, WY, ID and part of MT until I suffered a miscarriage and got so sick I nearly died. Fortunately a nice Adventist couple we knew had moved to Hamilton, MT and we were able to stay near them while I recovered. It was quite an experience.
