That is tough, @Cynthia12. Being in a wheelchair changes all dynamics. We would just make sure our wheelchair people got to lay down so they got off their bottoms. Also no underwear in bed so air could circulate.

We had a very good track record with skin breakdowns on our wing. Only treatments were usually to the rashes under the boobies.

BTW. I'm with you, those roses are a bit over the top. A little too froo frooy for me. Our house in IL had purple shag carpet in the bedroom. When we decided to put down laminate I asked DH which room do we start with and without missing a beat he said 'the bedroom'. We ripped up that awful carpet without hesitation. We both have severe allergies so no carpet for us. I have a couple of small runners and one area rug down by the fireplace but that is it. So much easier to keep clean especially with 6 dogs and 5 cats roaming around.

Friend asked us why we didn't get a Rumba and I said because we would have it screaming for mercy within 10 minutes from all the dog and cat hair. I have to 'Swifter' it every day and it takes two pads and three passes to get the majority of hair up.

Check out those roses! The gal that lived in here before us had a certain taste. Looks like something my grandmother had back in the day. The piece if carpet sample is actually less brown looking and more silver in real. I just gave that dresser away to one of my grandchildren. They need to hurry and pick it up. I don’t like wood floors..or the fake stuff. I got it for the bathroom though. Carpet in the bathroom!

I couldnt imagine sweeping 2000 sf. of hardwood floors.
