Granny's gone and done it again

Where did you buy your chickens?
I have a mixed batch now, Granny. The youngest ones are from Mt. Healthy, but I think the oldest ones came from Cackle Hatchery. I might still have one or two from Meyers but they would be EE and I wouldn't be able to tell which one(s) it would be.

it wouldnt really surprise me if there doing something to the feed.
Or maybe they are having trouble getting their usual ingredients. Lots of shortages and extra cost for products these days.

Poor girl. You are a good pet owner Wishing. You have been thru a lot with all your pets.
Will you get Pi neutered?
Eventually. After his growth plates close... about 2 yrs old.

@BigBlueHen53 hope all that snow misses you. I think they are calling for 1-3 maybe 4 inches here.

We had an exciting day here. I was doing laundry and all of a sudden water started pouring across our hobby room floor which is next door to the utility room. Yelled for DH who checked things out. Drain had come loose on the utility room sink which has happened before but he was suspicious and went to the basement. Said everything was dripping down there so he went on a hunt and discovered that our main drain was clogged and backing up. He spent the afternoon getting it unclogged. A dirty thankless job at best but by golly he got it open. Not sure what happened but thankfully it won't happen again. Now everything that was leaking needs to be repaired.

Home ownership is sooooo much fun.
THanks but we got 7". Lost internet until about an hour ago anx power was flickering off anx on all morning. All is good now though! Sorry to hear about your plumbing!

Does neutering slow their growth? I dont remember how old Bandit was but I remember what they did to him. poor guy

I try to think about things a little more like the Amish do. Instead of pressing myself to get things done, I say, well, I'll get to it when I get to it. Those fairies aren't going to come out overnight and do it for me. It will be waiting in the morning.

I'm still working on getting the wood work and trim done on the inside of the house. Only lived here for 14 years.:hmm:rolleyes:
Lol, same! My back porch needs to be torn down and totally rebuilt. It probably won't happen in my lifetime.

There are new studies coming out regarding early spay and neutering. Puts them at risk for some diseases and joint problems. The sex hormones are there for a reason, and it seems like a good idea to let them get the effects. Since Pi is a timid type of dog, I'm hoping his experience with testosterone will calm him down some and reduce the nerves.
