Granny's gone and done it again

I'm all caught up!

We start seeing Tulips and Daffodils coming up in March. I heard a Robin today! Must have stayed for the winter. They don't usually.
Our daffodils have broken ground and I see closed buds on them. They'll be blooming soon! I don't have crosuses any more, but they're usually the first to bloom.

I think that's our wild cherry tree that's broken. It almost looks like it's lightning-struck, but I think it's just broken from the weight of the very wet snow. I haven't been out to look at it.

This is DH's late dad's woodworking shop, now just used for storage. I think that's a walnut tree behind it.

THanks but we got 7". Lost internet until about an hour ago anx power was flickering off anx on all morning. All is good now though! Sorry to hear about your plumbing!
Thanks Blue.

7 inches? Whow! You beat us by a little less than three inches. It's starting to melt a bit here now.

Just glad the drain freaked out yesterday instead of today.

There are new studies coming out regarding early spay and neutering. Puts them at risk for some diseases and joint problems. The sex hormones are there for a reason, and it seems like a good idea to let them get the effects. Since Pi is a timid type of dog, I'm hoping his experience with testosterone will calm him down some and reduce the nerves.
We did that with Varn, our little 'runt' cattle dog. He was so small compared to his brothers and sisters that we had him neutered last. He wasn't 2, closer to 1. We wanted to give him a chance to grow and mature as much as possible.

He did grow and fill out more but he definitely didn't quiet down. Little stinker got more honery. Plus his nads grew HUGE like maybe he was kicking out MORE testosterone than he needed. It was like watching an annoying little brother continuously be beat up by his larger siblings. With good reason. He was just a little jerk to them.

Even neutered the other day I saw him run up behind his taller, lighter weight brother and bite him on the butt, then run like the devil himself was on his tail with brother hot after him. As they breezed by me I said 'Don't come running to me when you get beat up!' Sometimes it's like having 4-2 year olds in the house.

@BigBlueHen53 I'll be surprised if we don't lose some tree tops. We noticed and it shows up in that picture I posted after our first snow on Sunday that all the trees were bowing over from the weight of the snow. Sorry you lost a wild cherry. We have a lot of that in our timber.

Funny, the conservation forester we had look at our timber called them scrub trees and advised us to cut them. Ain't gonna happen. They are too pretty in the spring when they bloom.

my body jerks sometimes including my fingers and I post crazy .
I don't think I did that. I've been cleaning under my keyboard keys. Dug enough cat hair out to knit a new one. Think I had one key hung up when I popped it back in and that was causing my computer to act wonky.
