Granny's gone and done it again

My rooster's spurs, legs and feet were all bloody at snack time this afternoon. We checked him over after they roosted and it turned out that some how he'd broken one of his spurs about half off, like he'd caught it on something. It had a sharp edge on it so I cut it off with a sharp tool but then it started bleeding again. I held a wet towel on it for several minutes until DH said he was getting heavy and he needed to put him back on the roost. Fortunately it stopped dripping then. I clipped the tip off the other spur while we had him. They aren't just long, they're growing pointed up toward his body, very curved.

found this on FB and everything except the ears (fawns stand up) looks just like her.
