Oof. I had neighbors who would get peach all worked up when they’d walk by my house when I was at work. Excitement pee always happened. I had to have a stern talking to MULTIPLE TIMES with them before they finally smartened up.

So the Big Growth Spurt is around 4.5-5.5 months…however they do keep growing it’s just not as insanely.

I had that happen with some cookies I tried to do. Still don’t know what happened.

At the dmv yet again today to finish registration on the Midlife Crisis. We towed her into town to get the brake and light inspection and vin verification done, that was enough to give us 30 day temp tags so we went for lunch, unloaded it and I drove it home, that was enough to run the monitors so we could smog it…so, passed smog and now we’re back down the hill at the dmv so I can get plates.

Still have to do the Goose Test on this car.
I have seen that happen if you use margerine instead of butter or vice versa in some recipes.

I have 2 in this bunch that are supposed to be tolbunt. The one hatched all black except the spot on its neck and one below its crest. The other hatched looking like a silver laced polish.
Congrats! Whatever color they turn out they are too cute!

This is not what I imagined when I started this Chewy Molasses cookie recipe. They are only 1/4” thick and in my imagination they were going to be about half an inch thick.View attachment 3485736
I'm charting this in as mostly a flop. I remember making these as a teenager and they turned out excellent. Still, I'm not willing to go back to the ingredients we used to use in order to get a pretty cookie. I'll just try a different recipe.

Well, I'm now worrying over my Gracie today, again. She's been so docile. Slow moving. She keeps adjusting herself as she's laying. Or she'll get up and move somewhere else. She'll just sit there. Her eyes..look so different. I can tell she's in pain. I gave her her night time pill early. Doesn't seem to be helping. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow, hopefully he'll be there, and ask if I can give her 3 a day of this gabapentin. In the meantime, I'm giving g her a third tonight. Poor thing. She worries me.
