There is some type of bee going from flower to flower. It is small like a fly but looks like a bee. I was told to use a paint brush to pollinate them but since they are setting on I dont think its needed

I dont blame you. I would be out for pay backs too. I drowned a coon once after trapping it and never again will I do that. If they are setting you are good to go. Sounds like you may have some of what are called Sweat Bees. Tiny.
