I don't like the back of the tongue/throat burn, Now horseradish and wasabi I am fine with.

80's here, lows in the 50's. Feels wonderful. But I need to find a source of wood for the winter! My supplier for the last three years has retired!

Twist did you use regular cukes or pickling cukes?

regular cukes , and if they get a little on the large and yellow side they work as well. Just make sure they are firm.

I thought I was the only one! I can NOT do peppers and chilis, but I like wasabi and can hardly taste/feel horseradish at all. My son, who LOVES hot peppers, thought he was gonna die when he tried wasabi, but I ate it like ketchup. Go figure.
