Kentucky police find pig wandering around on Bacon Creek Rd.
Police in one Kentucky county have an odd inmate in their custody and they are looking for its owner.

She's doing good, she's settling in and learning the routine. Goes right to her crate when it's time for me to go to work - though soon she'll be left outside for when I go to work. Probably losing my work from home in the afternoons. She's stopped sleeping all night in the bed - not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing lol. She does pre bedtime snuggles and then heads off to her bed in her crate when it's actual bedtime.
Is she pretty independent then? Kinda sounds that way

Ok, how perfect that the pig was found wandering on BACON CREEK ROAD?!?!?!

Depends on her mood. lol. she's content hanging out outside all day, but she's also a bit of a velcro dog.

Shelters say the rule of 3 for a shelter dog the last one being 3 months before they will trust you.

The rule for this time frame is the 3-3-3 rule. Three days for initial decompression, three weeks to learn the routines of your household, and three months to start to feel relaxed and at home. When you adopt, foster, or are a new pet parent, it's especially important to consider

I'm glad I don't pay taxes again on my SSI check.

If your total income is more than $25,000 for an individual or $32,000 for a married couple filing jointly, you must pay federal income taxes on your Social Security benefits. Below those thresholds, your benefits are not taxed. That applies to spousal benefits, survivor benefits and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) as well as to retirement benefits.

The portion of your benefits subject to taxation varies with income level. You’ll be taxed on:
  • up to 50 percent of your benefits if your income is $25,000 to $34,000 for an individual or $32,000 to $44,000 for a married couple filing jointly.
  • up to 85 percent of your benefits if your income is more than $34,000 (individual) or $44,000 (couple).
