I don't have enough to pay taxes again. We live cheap and don't need more than we have. We have income in the way of things that come off the land. We raise meat and eggs that are not taxable. Sometimes you have to beat them at their own game. Legally. If your total income is more than $25,000 for an individual or $32,000 for a married couple filing jointly, you must pay federal income taxes on your Social Security benefits. Below those thresholds, your benefits are not taxed. That applies to spousal benefits, survivor benefits and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) as well as to retirement benefits.
The portion of your benefits subject to taxation varies with income level. You’ll be taxed on:
- up to 50 percent of your benefits if your income is $25,000 to $34,000 for an individual or $32,000 to $44,000 for a married couple filing jointly.
- up to 85 percent of your benefits if your income is more than $34,000 (individual) or $44,000 (couple).
Yes. Been a busy day. Got home from PT at 2 and then I took a nap and after that took care of all the coops of birds. Tomorrow will be a lot easier. I really would like to go to bed for the night now but I better stay up so I don't get up in the dark and can't go back to sleep.hi Larry, I was worried about you today missing. Are you ok?

My Gracie does that..snuggles up right by me at first, then heads further away. She's doing good, she's settling in and learning the routine. Goes right to her crate when it's time for me to go to work - though soon she'll be left outside for when I go to work. Probably losing my work from home in the afternoons. She's stopped sleeping all night in the bed - not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing lol. She does pre bedtime snuggles and then heads off to her bed in her crate when it's actual bedtime.
No. I'm just over in the edge of Central Time Zone. Its but a little past 9 here. Are we on the same time?
