Granny's gone and done it again

At one time some years back there was a company making beef bacon out of briskets I think. I never got any and now I don't see it any more. It had to be good. I'm going to be resting a lot to day and try and undo some things I did while lifting, bending, walking to fast, etc. All that is coming home to roost this morning. I can live with it because the little ones are safe and all made it through their first night out of the incubator and in their new brooder home. We are watching one little one that has an external lump that is drying that we don't know what is. l know enough not to break it off and start a fatal bleed. This is something we have never seen before. Out side of open some coop doors and making sure all coops have feed and water I'm doing only some executive work. New printer is not working. Error msg says call the service repair center. I hate that. Why not tell me in the manual. I need to print flyers. Now. Not after a printer is shipped off.

I haven’t heard that expression since the 60's-70's. My mom used to say it. Stopped after we had lived here in the west for a while. Moved from the south. Brought back memories.

Mike aka the idiot calls this afternoon and goes what time are you coming out today.

Um I'm not . He thought today was thanksgiving. Convo went down hill from there.

He does have a calendar out there and a computer.

How Old is this...man? People can actually start getting dementia pretty early. Not trying to be funny here..seriously, it can start in the 40's, called early onset. You start mentioning things like this reminds me of how my Scott started out. I would say start taking notice of his forgetfulness but I think you already have. How did you come about hiring this guy? Was he this forgetful in the beginning? Or, he may be on the Autistic spectrum..?

With all of my rescue and fostering and having my own dogs I don't for the life of me remember ever needing an x ray.

Could your chicken have an ingrown feather?

I pictured it on its butt. Yolk not completely absorbed. Larry, need to watch and make sure the other chicks don't start picking on it. You may end up needing to separate it if so. Then you will end up with another--pet.
