Granny's gone and done it again

traffic will be bad thursday. Sounds nice though. What is on the menu?
They are flying back to FL.
We will have turkey with mashed potatoes and dressing. Some sort of frozen Fluffy pie for dessert. Maybe even some veggies. Idk, hubby is in charge of cooking.

Ive called my primary dr over the sugar drops and nightmares, Called pain clinic over my back, Roberts dr for an appt. and pharmacy 2xs. Think Im done. Got Toms meds. No clue what I will do for dinner. Robert made fish and fries and mac&cheese for Tom and myself yesterday.

I don't typically let anyone run over me, if they try they get a rude awakening. My wife certainly doesn't run over me. She's my equal partner, not my mother or teacher.
For instance, when we got married I was a much better cook than she was, a much better house keeper, a much better gardener, etc . . .. If you'd ask her she would say the same.
Nowadays though she is as good at all of these things as I am, but I have always considered her an equal to me, not below or above me. I am reaping the dividends of that effort now.
For many years she had considered herself to be way below me, she severely belittled herself. I am happy to say she is quickly growing out of that negative mindset and consequently is blossoming with life and loveliness.

Cow tongue is very good, in my opinion the choicest part of the whole cow. I love eating the tongue.

Maybe. . . . . . try cottage cheese with the liver. . . did I just say that to Granny?

Which part doesn't happen?
The close your eyes and sleep?
I suppose if you're passed out you could classify it as sleeping.
I love your attitude towards your relationship. My husband was the same way. He brought me out of my shell. Such a gentleman.

When I was really young, I went to this fancy restaurant with my family, and my dad got me duck liver. I had manners, but I was so disgusted by the taste and texture, I spat it out on the table.

Looking back, it’s probably little Pastel being a very young child (I was probably seven) but I’m sure that if I tried it now I might appreciate it. I’ve killed six chickens in my life, and I’ve gutted and stuff to way more than 6 chickens. I’ve grown to appreciate them and how they are. And I know how the food we get in the store is made, so I’m sure if I ever need to try duck liver again, I will.
Have I said ~welcome? WELCOME!
