Granny's gone and done it again

Now your life will be so much easier! :lau
I don't typically let anyone run over me, if they try they get a rude awakening. My wife certainly doesn't run over me. She's my equal partner, not my mother or teacher.
For instance, when we got married I was a much better cook than she was, a much better house keeper, a much better gardener, etc . . .. If you'd ask her she would say the same.
Nowadays though she is as good at all of these things as I am, but I have always considered her an equal to me, not below or above me. I am reaping the dividends of that effort now.
For many years she had considered herself to be way below me, she severely belittled herself. I am happy to say she is quickly growing out of that negative mindset and consequently is blossoming with life and loveliness.
Yup and it gets so much exercise that it has been said to be the strongest muscle in a body. If that is true would it also be the toughest?
Cow tongue is very good, in my opinion the choicest part of the whole cow. I love eating the tongue.
lol Larry, what have you got against the cheeks? That sounds good to me and of course I LOVE liver. Wont catch me trying cottage cheese though. shivers...
Maybe. . . . . . try cottage cheese with the liver. . . did I just say that to Granny?
Lies Troyer. That doesn’t happen…unless you’re my hubs.

Which part doesn't happen?
The close your eyes and sleep?
I suppose if you're passed out you could classify it as sleeping.

Slept just a few. Hard to sleep lying down, hard to stay awake sitting up.
BTW for me, myself, and I the best cut of the steer (or old cow) is a whole brisket grilled hot and fast like a steak and then sliced paper thin. Then I stack that high on a good bun with a good sauce and enjoy a glass of iced tea with it. It's been a long time but a neighbor gave us a slicer he didn't use so I'm gonna grill one and give him half of it.

Alrighty! I do enjoy talking about other stuff, not only chooks.

Are there any rules? I’m sure just the simple rules like no swearing, nothing inappropriate, but any other rules that might only apply to this thread? With FBA (Fluffy Butt Acres) if you get off the topic of chickens, you have to post pictures of your chooks as “tax”
If you talk about a recipe, you need to post it if someone requests it.

I've got some hoop coop repair to do tomorrow. Found a hole in the tarp on the top of the Dark Cornish coop and them little demons are flying from the roost right through the cattle panel.
I put chicken wire over the cattle panels, except near the bottom where I put hardware cloth.

I used to cook liver love it. Not sure about the kids now. Should ask.
Horrible day. My Vestibular problem has kicked in to how it was when it first started. Way bad. I'm bringing out the walker. One of my daughters reminded me that it's the holidays, and Scott's birthday to boot...today. Guess I'm more stressed than I realized. I have been feeling down again. Glad I made it to church, even though I was holding on to the walls. I'll probably be staying down until this let's up. At least I pray it does. Horrible feeling. Even had to take something for nausea because the dizzy is so bad. At least~my knee is better!! Soo, I'm going to work on our Christmas Cards. Take note now--if the handwriting looks like it was done by a drunken soul, well you'll remember it was written by a soul who felt --drunken. 😁
So sorry you are having a hard time, Cynthia. Hugs dear!

My son Richard, the son with Spina Bifida, loves his camera. He takes beautiful photos. This one is about as simple as it can get. He said, this is about all I do for decorations for Thanksgiving. I think he's pretty talented. View attachment 3687536
I love the shadows and contrasts.
