be safe out thereGot to start chores. I won't be around much until I get some things done today. It's going to be in the mid 60's today and I need several things done outside to get ready for meat processing tomorrow.
Im about the same I guess. Back pain butt pain. lol Im not doing anything for Christmas and I wish It would hurry up and pass so I dont think about it.Good morning, Granny, how are you today!
Goodness, Christmas is Monday! Is everybody ready?
Same here Granny. Ma is putting up the cards to day. Christmas is a commercialized event that gets worse every year I think. Most don't even know the origin of the holiday. Not even those who attend church without fail.Im about the same I guess. Back pain butt pain. lol Im not doing anything for Christmas and I wish It would hurry up and pass so I dont think about it.
How are you today?
Granny is there anyway that you could sit on a special stool in the kitchen when you need to be at the range or over a counter working on a meal? Beating my head on the wall and I can't think of a way for you to enjoy the kitchen but I'm drawing blanks. You really need help. I'm sad that Robert will not learn to enjoy the kitchen and cook for you and Tom. At least a pot roast with the vegetables around it once a month.I really enjoy the cards and I hang mine up too but we used to have big dinners, big family and now its just the 3 of us and Robert doesnt like ham or turkey or hardly anything I cook and Tom doesnt want leftovers. I am just a little scrooged I guess today. I know the reason for the season and I need to keep rhat in mind. I agree it has become commercialized He with the most presents wins but I sure would like to be able to stand in that torture chamber forr more then 5 mins.
There is a right way to peel potatoes and a wrong way. If you peel them with a thick cut you waste a lot of the potatoes nutrition that is found just under the skin. For fries or baked I like to just wash them good and cook them with the skin on. Guess I'm a pig as I want all of the good stuff out of my potato.....Ive tried both of those things. Robert will help if I am in there He will peel taters and such as he tells me Im doing things wrong. lol
