Feels like 9° outside right now. Woodstove has been burning all day. 76° in here right now.
I was carrying a mostly full bag of feed today when my toe hooked under a branch and I tripped and fell. Hit my right knee pretty hard. But at least I didn't spill the feed. Glad that I fed and watered before dark.

Morning all, Larry, thank you for the thoughtful post. Im always trying to cut back. It just doesnt seem to work,
Its going between 55 and 57 in this room Im sleeping in. The nights are long Sometimes the PP and muscle relaxer work together and I sleep for a couple hrs. I dont know how but I need to go to walmarts today. I cant buy 3 blankets, maybe one but even if I do will it trip my breaker along with the space heater running?

@Rambling Iris I hope today finds you feeling better. I hear nurses make the worst patients. I would hate to see that strep turn into scarlet fever. Happened to both my kids. They were so sick they had to do the ice baths.

It shouldn't if you plug it in to a different outlet. It may take some trial and error to get them on a different breaker. A breaker may control more than one wall plug. Do you have any long extension cords? A worst case problem would be a heater plugged in by you and an extension cord for the blanket run from the kitchen. Blankets use very little power. Nothing like the heaters do. I'm going to me inside until 3 and will check on you often. I can't handle the outside cold today. Ice is not melting yet.

You may have to borrow a cord for the blanket. Cords cost a lot now and for this problem best if you can borrow one from Nancy or Kevin? Hope I got that right. Granny I'm horrible with names. It takes me a while.

I'm beginning to worry if my outdoor water lines that supply our chickens is going to thaw out today.
