Granny's gone and done it again

Maybe a light rain before but heavy rain starts about 4:00pm according to the radar and lasts for about 3 hours with high winds. I just hope we don't get hail or a tornado. I always worry about the feathered kids. Wish I had a cement bunker for them.

I have my little Honey hen inside with me now. I just let her out of her kennel for a bit of exercise. Gave her a little fresh bread and she got out of my lap down onto her poop rug and used it. Now she is just patrolling around looking for her boyfriend. He's outside under the carport with the gang of free ranging band of brothers.

No hail yet. Some thunder and lightning but no 60 mph gusts as of yet that were forecast.

Sounds like a war zone out now with the lightning cracking so close by. So very thankful for no high winds at all. Rain may be heavy now until 2am. Poor boys caught under the carport can't get to their coop to roost without getting soaked. There is roosting space for them under the carport if they will use it. At least the low will be in the midish 60's tonight. Meanwhile I'm do a nap now so maybe I can play tonight. We be gone most of the day tomorrow. After Pmgt we have a bit of shopping to do while we have the chance.

How's it going Larry? Storms moving in yet? Everybody under cover?
Larry is napping and it is still pouring rain. Thankfully the lightning has passed. From the looks of the radar we will have rain until the wee hours of the morning. Everything is as secure as we can make it.
