Granny's gone and done it again

Bee, the goat had her triplets! One stillborn, one very wet and chilly, but still alive. One standing up. I took the wet girl, dried her off, laid her under a heat lamp for a while. Last time I checked her, she was standing up. The people are coming to pick them up tonight. Along with Pippin and Peanut. Then I will have 2 does and 4 kids left.
Cool beans, Cap!

My stomach has been squirrelly since I was on those two ABX for two weeks. :sick I have been eating yogurt and will start on probiotic capsules tomorrow also. My stomach burns when I eat and... I'm ... a little, er, loose. I kinda feel like I have a little stomach flu, but I'm not sick. I mean, I don't have a fever or anything like that. I just feel .... kinda pukey. Hope things settle down soon. Wonder if it's the Ozempic? 🤔

My doctor (thanks to mom, who found her first and had me change insurance just so I could go see her after a years wait, lol) ... anyway, she's really good. Should have her own tv show sort of good.
She gave me two months trial of Ozempic, it was wonderful. If only they would cover it for non-diabetic patients!!! Ergh. I have something up with my metabolism, really slow and has been since I was a kid. I never could eat more than two meals a day due to being full from the last one, but when I get hungry I'm soooo hungry!
The Ozempic helped with that and with my energy levels. Dr. Sam said it helps with turning food into energy.
She also said that she has to start her patients off with small doses and gradually shift it upwards to avoid side effects, so this is the part pertinent to your symptoms... what dose does your Doc have you at?

My gut inflammation causes my back to hurt so when I can't move because of my back, I have to sit down and figure out what I am eating that I shouldn't be.

I'm taking Amoxicillin now for the inflammation. I'd rather not so I'll give it a try.:hugs

Oh darn, it sucks to have back pain at the same time. My mom has degenerative disk disease so her back is already painful. When her flare-ups hit it was like a double whammy and with the tension of trying not to strain either side!
I hope you feel better soon :hugs

Do they keep growing regardless of the size of their tank? I know goldfish get bigger if they're in a big tank.

Yup, me too. Don't drink.

Probably not often enough. Once a year maybe. As long as I don't have problems with my bile duct they just prescribe me high doses of Famotidine and that's it. I sleep sitting up to control my GERD. Hmmm. Sounds like I need to see them more often, doesn't it? 🤔
Problem with my GI is that it takes months to get in to see her. I can get into my DO in 48 hours usually.

I'm doing the high dose Prilosec. Danged Medicare part D keeps telling me that I need to take it just once a day and I keep telling them, Look, you aren't my doctor and you don't have my stomach so butt out. When I'm having a lot of problems with Gerd I even take Famotidine at bedtime. What frustrates me is that I have this inflammatory condition in my stomach and colon but nobody seems to know what is causing it. They know what it isn't, it isn't Crohn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis, I don't have ulcers, I do have a Hiatal hernia and GERD but here, take these pills and watch what you eat.

Sigh. Sometimes you just get so tired......

Chick, I eat this way already and have for years, decades. I eat tiny portions and feel full after only a few bites. I don't eat sugar and don't crave sweets. I don't eat from stress or boredom. I have to remind myself to eat. I mentioned I have metabolic disorders. Do you know what gastroparesis is? It takes forever for my food to digest. I also have fatty liver. I just don't metabolize properly. I'm hoping the Ozempic will help.

Cynthia, this is brilliant! I'm going to "mark" the hole going under the corner of my hen house. I don't know who or what has set up residence under there, I suspect a young raccoon, armadillo or opossum, but hopefully your remedy will work! Fortunately I have a never-ending supply of the "repellent!" :lau

I guess I don't get stressed .... 🤔 or if I do, I just holler at the offending party until they're stressed, then I feel better! :gig
If you have gastroparesis be careful. That is how ozempic works. Your stomach empties much slower.

Ditto. All the therapists I have seen just listen to you talk but don't make helpful suggestions. So it makes me go through all my problems and talk about them, but it actually makes me feel worse! Pottery is better.
Ihave actually found really good ones in the past. Esp for communicating with my husband. We clash a lot

Thanks Roses, It comes and goes. Yeah, I have the disk disease also but the doctor explained to me that the gut inflammation can cause nerve inflammation as the same nerve systems that handle your guts also handle your back. Luckily my DO is one of the best in the area when it comes to doing manual adjustments and acupressure on my back and neck. It helps a lot. And when all else fails he shoots me full of steroids. They are hell on my osteoarthritic joints but they make the pain go away.

Whoever called these the golden years was out of their freaking minds. Tell your mom that she isn't alone and give her a hug for me, please?
