Granny's gone and done it again

Yes, most snakes are active at night and prefer to hunt then. However, some snakes are active during the day, and others may be active at different times of day depending on the season. For example, copperhead snakes are usually active during the day in the spring and fall, but become nocturnal in the summer. They especially like to be out on warm, humid nights after it rains.

What is going on? Kudos to Robert. That is a big help. OT &PT will call to make appt I would think. It takes forever for me to get my refrrral from PT
Thanks H2o Just more of the same stuff. I had to change his clothes and that about killed my back. I dont mean to complain I would do it a 100xs a day if needed. Just pain talking.

Chicken cacciatore, finishing in the oven. I made too many thighs (10) to fit in my Dutch oven to simmer on the stove. Had to use the biggest casserole dish I have, lol. This is actually a pottery item my late ex gave me as a gift, I never use it, it's huge. Glad to have it tonight. Smells delish, have never had it before. Lots of mushrooms and tomatoes! :drool Can't wait!
Aint gonna cook something I cant pronounce lol
They'll be curled up in cool places, enjoying a cool beer and swaying to some groovy music like smart people.

Lol. It's pronounced "catch-a-torie" and it was delicious. I'd never made it before but I will again. Nice change from white creamy sauces, and GC can eat it!

I'm sorry Tom is not doing well, Granny. Wish things were better for both of you. :hugs

That was interesting about snakes. Good to know.

Thank you One day it will be and I will wish these days back

I want cannolis LOL
Eat celery, it's nice and crunchy. Or cucumber with ranch dressing.

For breakfast today I had a peach, peeled and cut into chunks, half a banana cut up, and a few sweet cherries cut up and pitted, in a bowl with plain Greek yogurt and about a tsp of honey. It was wonderful and I wasn't hungry again till about 2 pm, when I had a baked sweet potato with butter and salt.

I don’t have any of that 😭

I keep falling asleep in my chair. I think this chair is reminding me that it is not many more months until I will join Tom in the 80 year old bracket. I seem to need more and more naps. I had a good nap this morning already and want one now. It's to hot to work outside with a feels like temp of 103°. Actual temp is 95° right now. Ma is around somewhere. I don't know where. I'm going to find my bed for a bit.
There is nothing wrong with naps. I couldn't wait until I retired and could start taking one now and then. I learned somewhere naps are supposed to be 20 minutes. I never understood if that means 20 minutes of laying down or 20 minutes of actual sleep. I suppose they mean the latter, so I'd set my alarm for a half an hour. Now, pfft. If I'm tired and I can take a nap, I lay down. Usually, it's about an hour when I wake up.

Besides, for you, it's the heat more than your age. That takes a lot out of a person!

Do you buy fresh fruits and vegetables? Do you cook? Do you plan meals and menus, and make a list so you buy the items and ingredients you'll need to prepare those meals?

Do you have cookbooks? Or can you google diabetic meals? That's what I do. And I watch lots and lots of cooking shows. Ask your doctor to recommend a class, they will teach you how to eat, plan meals, and cook.

ETA Sorry, that was aimed at @ShrekDawg.
