Granny's gone and done it again

Do you buy fresh fruits and vegetables? Do you cook? Do you plan meals and menus, and make a list so you buy the items and ingredients you'll need to prepare those meals?

Do you have cookbooks? Or can you google diabetic meals? That's what I do. And I watch lots and lots of cooking shows. Ask your doctor to recommend a class, they will teach you how to eat, plan meals, and cook.
I used to but they go bad so fast I stopped mostly. Although I still buy them sometimes. I have spinach right now. And zucchini from the garden. And frozen vegetables and fruits. I do cook some but simple stuff LOL I don’t plan. Just what I feel like, usually the same few things :hide

I could Google I suppose lol

There is nothing wrong with naps. I couldn't wait until I retired and could start taking one now and then. I learned somewhere naps are supposed to be 20 minutes. I never understood if that means 20 minutes of laying down or 20 minutes of actual sleep. I suppose they mean the latter, so I'd set my alarm for a half an hour. Now, pfft. If I'm tired and I can take a nap, I lay down. Usually, it's about an hour when I wake up.

Besides, for you, it's the heat more than your age. That takes a lot out of a person!
For some reason, at 73 years old, I can still remember my first grade teacher having the class put their heads down on their desks for nap time. I don't remember actually sleeping.

🤔 Hmm. Help me decide. Salmon patties for dinner or chicken cacciatore? I can make the patties with oatmeal so GC can eat them, instead of bread crumbs or crackers, and use a plant-based milk for the liquid.
I'm sure I'm too late, but I'd have voted for salmon patties. I do love chicken too, but oooh, those salmon patties are awesome!

It's been a bad week for passwords. I no sooner get one fixed before I forget another.
Years ago I had to have so many for work so I came up with a plan and used my pets names, then put number 1 and a $ after it.

If I had to change one, I just added a $ to it. Then if you typed that one in and it didn't take, just try it again with another $ at the end. The number never changes until you hit six $. Then start over with 2$

So first password is:

Harold1$ (one of my roosters)

If I have to change it, it'll be
Harold1$$
Harold1$$$
Harold1$$$$
Harold1$$$$$
Harold1$$$$$$
Harold 2$

etc.

This is ridiculous lol
Not if you worked under the auspices of the FBI. I entered federal warrants so needed to access their information, the state information, our own information, so there were 4 passwords needed just for that job alone. Entering warrants was only 5% of my job. The rest needed more programs to be used, so more passwords. I had a lot of pets, and used them and my way of doing them so it made it easier for me.

Crazy for sure. I wished they'd get more of that thumbprint or retinal scan stuff going so we'd not even need passwords. Some of our doors had those.

I forgot about that. Now that you reminded me, we had a rug for kindergarten and would lay on the floor. First grade, we did that too, on the desk. I do recall falling asleep, but only one time that I have a memory of it.

Have the little Saipan on a rug in front of our chairs. He is standing and sleeps some then drinks and eats some. I do hope he makes it for his sake. Just because he is a spare is certainly not a reason to not to care.
You made a rhyme, lol. I think your chickens are talking. They know if they’re feeling poorly they get brought inside. Lol

I remember my first grade teacher's name was Mrs. Fenton. She was a big, big woman. In my class was a girl named Emaline Thompson. Poor Emaline, Mrs. Fenton didn't seem to like her. There was a janitor's closet connecting our classroom to another and Mrs. Fenton had Emaline in there every day giving her a spanking. Emaline must have hated coming to school.
