Granny's gone and done it again

Not if you worked under the auspices of the FBI. I entered federal warrants so needed to access their information, the state information, our own information, so there were 4 passwords needed just for that job alone. Entering warrants was only 5% of my job. The rest needed more programs to be used, so more passwords. I had a lot of pets, and used them and my way of doing them so it made it easier for me.

Crazy for sure. I wished they'd get more of that thumbprint or retinal scan stuff going so we'd not even need passwords. Some of our doors had those.
That makes sense! I wasn’t meaning your password thing though, sorry if I wasn’t clear lol

Evening Granny Folk.

Suddenly, the weather is more like early September than August here. Two days ago it was 93 here, yesterday it was 68 and today 80. 80s into the seeable future. This I can live with.

I need to get caught up better but Granny, dear lady, I am praying for you and your family. I was a geriatrics nurse for the last 7 years of my clinical career. Trust me, an infection affects elderly folks differently than it does youngsters. I'm puzzled as to why, if Tom's legs are infected that they aren't prescribing medication for him. You said his labs were normal. I take it that means his white count was normal. Hmmmmmmm.....

Still, if he has an infection fatigue, weakness, lack of appetite sounds pretty SOP to me in somebody who is 80. Comes a time where you just have to trust the doctors to get to the bottom of things. Just don't wear yourself out in the meantime. Promise?

With the cooler weather DH and I have been trying to get the outdoor work caught up. He laid down the law that I wasn't to do any yard work until the temps came down. I told him yesterday either we had to mow or buy goats so yesterday afternoon and today we got the whole 2 acre yard done and he did some of the pasture where we have paths cut. I'm bushed. My right shoulder is better but it sure is letting me know that it wouldn't take much to make my life miserable again.

Speaking of snakes, I haven't seen my rodent eliminator for a few days. Makes me wonder where it's hold up. Has to be in the walls somewhere or in a tunnel under the concrete floor. Never thought I would appreciate having a snake around.

Last night DH caught a big possum and a racoon in our apple tree in the front yard. Today we buried the possum. The racoon got away but no doubt it crawled off somewhere never to be seen again....I hope. In the mean time our apple crop is gone. We don't spray so now the task is to find apples to buy in the Amish community that haven't been doused with chemicals. Good luck finding those. Has anybody ever heard of a possum and a racoon sharing an apple dwarf apple tree?

Need to toddle off and feed the cats. They are staring at me...

I made lasagna from scratch yesterday. Two dishes, one for the freezer. Yum!
I can't remember the last time I did that, but I do the same thing, freeze a dish of it for another cold day.
