Granny's gone and done it again

Peaches and cream! The sweetest corn I know. I grew it once and I'd go out in the heat of the day and eat it raw and young right out in the garden. So good! :drool Didn't even need butter.
Your own corn is the best cause you can eat it young before the skins are tough

trying to figure out how to get Muscovy ducks back since the state has "outlawed" hatcheries from sending them to ND.

Maybe hatching eggs ?? Any one "know a guy" or what the sucess rate on hatching eggs is ??
What is the reason behind the out lawing Muscovy ducks? Do they get some kind of disease?

Sigh, I am pretty sure that three of my "pullets" are actually cockerels. Their behavior is like a bunch of neighborhood toughs. They hang together and bully the REAL pullets, esp the smallest one, chasing them away from afternoon trests, but they flinch when the OG girls give them the side eye or stomp at them, and run off acting like punks on motorcycles. That makes 8 cockerels and only 7 pullets.
Isn't it amazing how some roosters show their strut when they are still covered in fluff?

Farm tomorrow. Going to bring the main herd a lic tub or two and a couple 5 gal buckets of fallen apples (will have to remember to drive over them a couple of times so they don't choke) I have managed to MIS-place my camera, hoping I left it at the farm.
When we were little and Mom made us pick up the fallen (wormy) apples, we would pierce them on a sharp stick to see how far we could throw them out to pasture. What sticky fun we had, apple juice all over us!

Hey all Cant take this pain. ID what to do, pain clinic wont help. I need something . Nancy came yesterday and cleaned me up, brought food and cooked.
Alternate heat and cold in the painful area.

I have had a real struggle sexing these guys. They are about to be 4 months old. These 5 cockerels don't look much different from the pullets. I think that is a pullet beyond the fence, lol. And I thought there might be a pullet in this batch but now I'm pretty sure they're all cockerels.
