Wonder why? They are the only duck I've been told would stick around here. We have a creek down the bank behind our house, and ducks would love to go down there and swim. Other ducks would swim a little farther each day and eventually go too far where predators would get them or they'd just not know how to get home. Muscovies I'm told would stay put and not swim away.

Mine ALWAYS stayed in the areas they were put behind fences. And the one or two who didn't well Arse took care of them. Thems the rules at the farm, Stay behind the fence/run OR your fair game for the dogs.
