Granny's gone and done it again

So sad, poor Tom. ❤️

Well that makes sense. Still sounds like a lot of work. How easy is it to lift them and put them in the crate? Do they kick and resist, or are they pretty compliant?
I used to work at a retirement home. The residents had to give their last couple years of financial info to make sure they didn't gift large amounts of money to family members before signing up to move in. I also saw broken hearted residents in tears because they ran out of money and had to move out.

Since Medicare enrollment is coming up, is there someone who could help you check out different insurance companies so you get one with the best benefits? It's a lot of head ache for you to do it yourself. Maybe you could call Medicare and they could give you a# to call for help. Some of those hidden benefits that you would never guess comes with insurance for people 65 and over

About the nursing home. I think it was micro that mentioned. I know that while I had hospice for Scott, I had an option to take him to a nursing home for the day..or a few days..then back home. Helps when you have something coming up.
Yep, referring to my experiences as a nursing home nurse.

You do not have to be in a custodial care facility to be eligible for hospice care. If you're loved ones are at home they do wonderful work giving family relief as caregivers, offer spiritual support, emotional support to the family as well as the person in hospice.

Rained here all day today. Almost 2 inches since last night but we really needed it. I didn't even let the birds out today. Along with the rain, it didn't get out of the low 60s here today.

I think Fall is here, temperature wise as well as far as the solstice is concerned. Funny since it was 89 just a few days ago.

I do have a few very large crates. I had four young goats in it yesterday.
Yes, I have been busy cleaning house for company, trying to get ceramics ready to sell, taking care of animals etc. I did lose 15 pounds! I have been trying.
Congratulations, Cap on everything. Losing weight is tough.. I was down to 118. Pushed myself to gain a few pounds and was at 120 this morning. I'd like to hold it there or lose a couple of pounds again so I have a few pounds to play with over the holidays.

I love Fall. ❤️
Me too, especially Halloween!

Yes, the pills the doctor prescribed are helping. Once I get nauseated, I don't feel much like eating.

And we've been in the 60's to 70's, now to head back up to 88 and 89 this week.:(
