Granny's gone and done it again

I made a frittata for dinner tonight. Sauteed onions in a little oil and "plant-based butter" which is really pretty much just margarine, added some previously cooked diced potatoes, some chopped spinach and plant-based mozzarella cheese in a cast-iron skillet with garlic, then poured over all that six eggs beaten with 1/4 c almond milk and a little salt. Decorated top with grape tomatoes cut in half then cooked on stove a few minutes till edges were set, then in 400° oven 15 - 20 min till set. It was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised bc of all the substitutions.

The missing cockerel turned up. I don't know where he slept last night but he definitely wasn't in the hen house. Hmm, a mystery. 🤔
He must of known it was processing day! hahaa

We got about 2.25 inches of rain up here over the last three days. Needed it bad but the chicken run is a sloppy mess. I hadn't let the birds out till this afternoon when the sun came out. Went out later to feed, bent over to fill a water bowl and Rascal, the little SDW cockerel I did an assisted hatch with cried MOM! and jumped on my back, nasty smelly muddy feet and all. "Mommy" wasn't thrilled.

You should check and see if the hospital where you had it done has a 'patient portal' where you can sign in and see your results. All the hospitals here have it. Sometimes you can see the results by the end of the day of testing. It's great.
I'm a patient patient. My cardiologist is doing this and his office is in the hospital complex. He is well staffed like I've never seen before so I know I'll get a call if there is a need for more testing ASAP. Meanwhile I've got plenty of ortho to deal without even thinking or getting distracted with the thyroid testing. Nothing is hurting there like my left shoulder, my left leg, my left butt cheek, and more. I will not take any med stronger than Trammadol plus arthritis strength Tylenol and right now that is not working even with the base dose of Meloxicam.

Right now my left arm feels like I have an electrical current running down it over the skin right down into my fingers. The Gabapentin is doing nothing to slow it down. 6 years ago I had this shoulder taken apart and cleaned up from what ever those things are called they scrape off and until a few months ago it hasn't been so bad. As soon as the hips are done the left shoulder is next. Wish I had my TN doc back now. He was the best doc I have ever had. No other doc could match his bedside manor plus he knew his trade.

Those are rare.

And I just woke up. Long nap but no idea how long.
@Cynthia12 Its a good thing we have people trained to read those things because I sure don't know what Im looking at except for the plate and screws.I didn't realize those would be used and it scares me because I had that in my foot surgery and years later it still hurts. One thing I do know is I ain't EVER going to Australia
Not metal..titanium. I think they've gone to something different now.

I'm watching the hurricane track again. It looks like this one will miss us to the east instead of the west. It's to early to know but that is what the tracking computer is suggesting now. We may get up to 6" of rain and that is 4" to much at once. Out fall crop of Pink Eye Purple Hull peas will need picking before Friday I think. A handful may could be picked now. Our forecast for tomorrow says rain before we leave for the hospital and until after dark. Kids will not get any recess time tomorrow.
I heard that the hurricane is now heading west of Florida. :(

Need something else to eat. Ate a small pork cutlet with rice and gravy along with some sweet corn from our freezer that we grew. Need some fruit. I think there are grapes in the fridge that have my name on them.
I have grapes in the fridge. Kids love them. :) Little Ashton eats a lot. Jane, I cut them up for her.
