If you wait too long to get a pinched nerve fixed it can become permanent damage and pain

Severe nerve compression that lasts more than six weeks can cause permanent muscle loss and nerve damage. You should see your healthcare provider early about symptoms so you can start the appropriate treatment.

We have a daughter in law who got her degree from Kirksville. Seems like many ages ago since we were in Kirksville. She married our second son who went some to Maryville and then joined the Air Force. Now that lake in your area I can almost say the name but it is south of Macon is where we used to take the kids to ride their water toys behind the boat. The lake is a reservoir actually with a power plant on it. Thomas Hill Reservoir was our playground.
We live in Macon County, just north of Macon. I don't think we have been to Thomas Hill. Been to Long Branch and Thousand Hills, though.

Granny there should be a way for you to find a doctor that uses your insurance on your own.

One way is to just do a bucket list of docs who specialize in neurology or are spinal specialists in your area then look at their websites. Most will have lists of what insurances they do business with. Or you can just call and ask them if they take patients with your insurances.

You can do a little research on them also, find out what their patient ratings are in reviews and choose one on your own.

Girl, ya gotta be your own best advocate!

We went to Thomas Hill when the temp was down to 10°. The power plant kept a portion of the lake open all winter long.
