Hope you are having a better day today Granny. We made a quick trip into town this morning for feed and chicken treats (cheap Dollar General bread). Also stopped and delivered some eggs. Trying to make arrangements to go to #1 daughters FIL memorial service later this month. Biggest problem is it is in the heart of the hurricane damage in NF and it will be very hard for Ma to go alone. Scares me. Going to try and make some arrangements to go with her by getting a good neighbor (2 miles from us) to come and check on chicken pens water in the afternoon. He helped build our coops and knows how we take care of them and I fully trust him.

I've always fallen right back into my chair when getting up from a chair. It's the bed that scares me a little. Falling back on the bed is nerve racking when you bounce up and then fall on the floor.

Sophie is on her pallet down by my feet all content. She cant hold another peck and is tanked on cool water. She rests her head on a folded towel and naps that way.

At my request Ma has just made a batch of Strawberry & Muscadine Jam. I've never had any so good as that. Made with reduced sugar too. I may spoil my supper and have a PB&J in mid afternoon. It would go good with my 3pm meds.
