Slept until lunch and am ready for more now. It's a cool 81 outside. Think I'll just rest until time for evening chores. The weather guessers are starting to use words that start with a F. 44° coming soon.

The city my SIL is from. Her home was spared with no damage what soever and still has power while all around in St. Petersburg there is devastation.

Does everyone on here get the flu shot? I didn't. I've been taking vitamins religiously, thinking if I get sick it will help me fight it off. DH got the flu shot almost 3 weeks ago and has been fighting flu symptoms since. I know it doesn't mean he got it from the shot. He's on antibiotics, inhaler and Robitussin now.

I don’t. I dont think they help one bit. In fact I think they harm. I keep up my supplements and wash my hands a lot.

Nope, not doing it. DH and I don't go out over the winter and when I go to the doctors I mask up in the waiting room. We take 5000 IU of vitamin D3. That's about it. I've been busy stocking up on non perishables for over the winter and getting the freezer stocked up.

Spent some time trying to get caught up. Had to call it when talk of eating eyeballs popped up, no pun intended. I've tried mountain oysters, eel, turtle, octopus and a few other delicacies but have to draw the line at eyeballs. Won't do chicken feet either.

@CapricornFarm. Hate to hear you hurt a rib. That hurts. My rib that I dislocated back in March still aches me at times when I overdo it so I know how bad it hurts. Take care my friend.

We get them. After getting the flew while still in my teens and nearly dying I've got them since. My brother couldn't take them in one dose. He got a half dose a week apart. We get those that are for age 65 and older. They must work for us as neither of us have had the flu in the last nearly 60 years.
