I slept most of the day. Hibernating from a tummy bug, lol. Made some white rice and managed to trash my wonderful $15 plastic microwave rice cooker! Left a piece out when assembling it. Stupid brain fog. Will order a new one tomorrow. May order a cast iron tortilla press while I'm at it, can make corn tortillas for GC since she is not supposed to eat bread but can't resist when I bake.

Puppy is doing outstanding. No messes in house, lets himself out dog doors as needed. Knows name and responds to it. Is joined at the heel to GC but I'll do in a pinch, if she has to be gone. Gets along great with the other animals. Very cute and playful. Not sure about the chickens, not chasing but observing. They definitely are nervous about him though! Introductions will take place on leash for a while.

Part of me wants to simplify and say "beauty pageant," but it's way more than that. It's the equivalent of SOP for dog breeds, and extremely important for the improvement of breeds. But the dogs that make it to the Westminster really are often breath-takingly beautiful.

Well that's 3 of us that took a big nap. I woke up at 9 just as Tom was getting up. He thinks its 9 am but he didn't have a problem going back to sleep out here.

I enjoy watching them. Not for perfection, I enjoy listening to what the Judges say as well.
