Granny's gone and done it again

Our front door leaves in lots of beautiful cozy sunshine. It also lets in a view of the one and only crazy neighbors yard. Everybody else around here is wonderful. We rarely use the front door. I thought the puppies could take in the sun
But the view of that neighbor? A life size gallows with 3 life size dead bloody people hanging. In front is a bed with a chopped up person and a bucket of body parts. Their whole yard is like that. Last year they had lots noises to go with it. Not this year.
They are the ones that had regular beer parties this summer with loud karaoke music until DH went on the porch and flipped out. I'm not going to say what happened except I found out the police visited them. I took DH to the Dr the next day and those parties stopped.
The last thing I needed was DH to get arrested... Or me to get in the middle and get killed by a drunk

Yesterday driving through town I was surprised how decked out houses are for Halloween. Not just carved pumpkins either. And people complain about food prices. And how many places had caution tape over doors and windows. Suppose they need emergency assistance and they get delayed help? The people across the road from us came from the same county we did known as a red neck area. With to many people that didn't want to follow laws. I don't want the government making unnecessary laws. But we do need some laws.

Raining for two days now. .much needed and we're grateful. No spewing of negative feelings here. Just joy and gratitude. The mountains have snow on them. Now if it will just keep up through the winter.
Kids are still sick. Coughing now. I don't worry about being around them when it's a tummy bug, but I don't do well with the non stop cough. I cough so hard my rib cage hurts. Stuffy nose no fun, but the cough.

I didn't come say Gmorning? Good afternoon! Housekeeper was here today. She's just a little thing but she caught Tom from going head first into the fish tank today. He was heading straight for it falling and she jumped up and grabbed him mid fall. He tore the skin on his elbow. Nasty looking place but he is ok. She made breakfast for us and it was really good too.
