I use Bisquick too. I think we cook them with the lid on for 10 minutes, then off for 10. Or the other way round, I forget which. I have it written down and I think it's also on the box. Now you got my mouth watering too, lol!

My late MIL used to say she liked the other kind of dumplings, the noodley ones. But she would eat several servings of mine, he-he. Darn, I miss her!

Its been a long day today. Housekeeper made chicken and dumplings The dumplings didn't taste so good. When I drop mine they come out like a biscuit in the center. Hers came out very dense,gummy all the way thru. Huge pot sitting on the stove in there and its been sitting for a long time now. Roberts sleeping so he cant put them in the fridge. I will have to pour all that food out. What a waste.

I'd dip it into some Tupperware or something. Waste not, want not. There's a lot of hungry kids in this world. I hate hearing of food going to waste.
