Granny's gone and done it again

Already done hours. We actually get paid $10 to go do it. We go the same day with back to back appointments so $20 for pizza on Medicare.
We get paid too! But the most important to me is seeing that they Got DH to talk and he has a bunch of referrals. I've been dreading the subject of his memory and he actually talked about it and got a referral. Happy for Medicare!

I
I didn't know we got this!

I also wonder if they are supposed to pay for my diabetic testing supplies. That stuff adds up. My Glucerna or Ensure? Bladder pads? Dry mouth lozenges? Drops for dry eyes? Who do I ask??? No wonder these are the "golden years!" If you don't have a stash of gold you are out of luck! (My dad told me that many years ago, lol).
Think diabetic testing supplies are covered. The same equipment is not covered for hypoglycemia
I would call Medicare. Because right now it's the time to change your Medicare insurance company if you aren't satisfied with it. I forget the open enrollment dates

For those of you on Medicare (everyone?) do you take advantage of your annual Medicare wellness visit? When the Dr sits down an sees you for a FULL hour and actually listens to everything you have to say without rushing you?
I had mine a month ago. DH had his today. And I'd like to give a shout out to Medicare for these visits. Especially for people like DH who can't think fast and it gives him an opportunity to even talk about things like memory. It encouraged him to open up about things he doesn't want to talk about to anyone, Even me. God answers prayers!
They ask a lot of personal questions. It felt very intrusive to me but I guess it is a good thing.

I'm off to bed again. Good night.
Good night!

With United Healthcare and Medicare Advantage we get $50 a month for OTC and Healthy Food. Then each month we can earn another $10 to $15 for OTC or Healthy Food. We have a rewards card that can be used at Walmart, Walgreens, Some supermarkets, and above all else Dollar General. Things like Glucerna and Ensure are things that the rewards can be spent on. It's not a matter of coverage as once the $50 allotment and any earned rewards is used for the month it's gone until the first of the next month. We get $10 a month each for taking care of our chickens and working in the gardens. Yes paid to exercise.
