Granny's gone and done it again

As long as she don't get temped to go upstairs. A grandchild calling to her or anyone needing assistance.
No, she IS upstairs, on the ground floor. The "kids" live downstairs, in the basement apartment. She would have no reason to go down there, the parents will be down there with the grandchildren. If she needs anything they would come up to help her. They'd probably come up to eat with her and do laundry too. Everything will be most convenient for her.

Upstairs, downstairs, stairs is stairs. If someone calls to her for help, she will go. I would. Even though she's quite capable of tackling stairs at this point, one day that will change.

Granny, I told DH the questions he should ask about the injection. It's quite new. The Dr is a very good Dr and I have a lot of faith that he will do what is best for DH- to the best of his knowledge.
He likened it to an oil change in a car. Hyaluronate is found naturally in knee joints and acts as a lubricant and shock absorbent (diminishing inflammation and pain). He removed the fluid that was on his knee and then added the hyaluronate with a needle. His knee was swollen and had quite a bit of fluid on it.
This will take longer for the pain to go away then with steroids. He can come back for another injection in 6 months if needed. Because it's fairly new, the side affects they are aware of are like injection site soreness. People try this if steroids are short lasting but you don't want to go for knee replacement.

You can ask your Dr about it, he may give you an injection in the shoulder.

I don't know if it's a man made substance.
It isn’t new. Been around for ages. They use it a lot on dogs and horses. I have been trying to get it. They just don’t seem to want to offer it.

The Dr said it's new, so maybe he meant this brand or how they give it? I know there's some in my puppies food.
His knee is hurting a lot right now. He can't bend it to stoop over. He didn't complain about the needle though

Anyone heard about making a yogurt like product to cure IBD? HEARD ABOUT BEFORE BUT NOW I THINK I MIGHT TRY MAKING SOME. Suppose to help with lots of problems. It is a bacteria that is killed off by antibiotics.
My Mom used to make yogurt but not specific to IBD.
Stony Creek makes a plain yogurt called 'probiotic yogurt'. It has more variety of probiotics than regular yogurt. It is also whole milk. There are nutrients in cream that the body needs. In small amounts it's very beneficial.( Not to eat just cream)
