I needed a little chuckle today!



Jasper is a snake wrangler! I was walking the neighborhood with a friend last week and we were just about to cross a small dry creek and heard this crazy hissing sound from the bushes. Instant rattlesnake alert! We got some long sticks and pushed the bushes back... turns out is was a gopher snake in full defensive mode. I have never heard one hiss before. It's not really a hiss, more like a vibration. They will shake their tails too, and in dry leaves, it sounds like a rattle! But gopher snakes are good, so live and let live!

2 of the 3 serama eggs I have in my old bator have been chirping very loudly all day. They have external pips . One since yesterday. The temp is down to 94. They must be some strong little thugs.

All I will say is I'm glad my current eggs are not fertile. But Davey goes back in next week

camp, one egg pipped yesterday kinda early then another pip today . nothing more but its rocking. Thinking about assisting . ???

Yup, except they are inside now. In a bator thats 94 degree .. Its the last 3 of the seramas.
