I can see one of our pet coops out a back window and the kids are not near the door like they normally are this time of day. They will pace back and forth wanting out. Right now they can't even be seen. I'd bet good money that they are up on their roosts afraid for their lives.

I always heard if you have diverticulitis, you are to avoid fiber at all costs! Isn't that why Granny is supposed to remove seeds from tomatoes, etc.? Or am I way out in left field here?

Crones says no fiber Im not allowed the seeds, nuts ect...

Idk what happened but I cant say Gmorning. I've been on the phone a lot today trying to take care of business . The one I don't remember was when the nurse is coming. Friday I know but not the time. The boys are off shopping. I didn't have anything to give Tom breakfast except eggs and he had that yesterday, I am having them bring dinner home. A favorite of Toms. Cubed fried steak Mashed taters with breakfast gravy on the meat and taters, green beans with ham in them and a biscuit. All for $9.00 at Bob Evens. I got the same thing.

My poor birds are going to go into shock when I open the coop door for them finally.

I've opened the pop door just for the fun of it when we have had a half inch of snow on the ground. It's hysterical to watch the little bantam hens come barreling out of the coop on the wing, see that evil white stuff on the ground that they are sure is going to melt them like the show is acid, and fly big circling arcs so they wind up landing back in the coop door.

In the meantime the desert gene Fayoumis who are supposed to despise the cold and snow go plowing out in the snow like they are huskies.

It's up to 6 here. Oh. Joy. Heatwave.

I imagine 1/4th of an inch of snow in Alabama is equal to about 24 inches of the stuff here. What's funny is that it doesn't matter where you live, even here in Missouri, let that first snow of the season hit and every idiot is out on the road driving like they never saw snow before. People just never learn.

I was tested for every thing from Celiac to Crones disease and negative for all. Just the moderate diverticular disease.

Around me it’s like $6-7 ish but I’m sure it’s $9 in some places. It’s like $9 for an 18 pack. It might even be $10.

Still a cheap source of protein.
