What are talking about here? Dogs, yaks, chickens? Kids, lol?You have to limit feed them until they hit maturity. This is what the company does with the breeding stock.

He's SO cute!
Thank you!!!!!!!He's SO cute!
Sorry, I see I responded to the wrong comment. The comment was made as to a Cornish Cross meat chicken not surviving to breeding age. I limit fed my meat birds that I wanted to turn into breeding stock. This does not mean I was successful with all of them. I had one die after passing by the pen with the lawn mower. I did a quick necropsy and found he had portions of his breast muscle die (green meat) - so I would not have been happy with his chicks anyway. I crossed the white cornish rock meaties with Dark Cornish. What are talking about here? Dogs, yaks, chickens? Kids, lol?

I'm considering buying another 25 Cornish Rock Pullets to cross with a very prime Dark Cornish Rooster That I hatched out here. Thanks for sharing the photos. I'd be in hopes of at least one of the offspring turning out to be a white male.Sorry, I see I responded to the wrong comment. OMG you have real Dark Cornish? All my original stock was from a guy that showed. The trio I got from him had a 14 pound rooster with an over sized comb. The girls were nice. They all had to be placed seven years ago when we started our house build. I'm now starting over with...Murray McMurray Dark Cornish. Not my choice, but what is available for me.I'm considering buying another 25 Cornish Rock Pullets to cross with a very prime Dark Cornish Rooster That I hatched out here.
